Sight Night

Each fall, during the Halloween season, the Lions Club of Quincy hosts Sight Night, a unique community service project that combines the fun of Trick-or-Treat and Truck-or-Treat events with our mission of preserving sight and improving lives.

Community members are encouraged to donate their unused eyeglasses, sunglasses, and hearing aids by giving them to local Trick-or-Treat and Truck-or-Treat events. Children bring the donated items back to their schools. Lions Club members then collect the donations from participating schools and ensure they are distributed through Lions programs that provide vision and hearing assistance to those in need around the world.

Sight Night teaches children the importance of community service while helping to recycle valuable vision and hearing devices that can make a life-changing difference for others.

Through this annual effort, the Lions Club of Quincy transforms a season known for collecting candy to giving sight to others.
