Lions International Speech Contest

Each year, the Lions Club of Quincy proudly sponsors the Lions Speech Contest, providing local students with an opportunity to develop their public speaking skills, build confidence, and share their ideas on important topics.

Participants prepare and deliver speeches before a panel of judges, demonstrating their ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and engage an audience. The competition challenges students to articulate their thoughts with clarity and conviction while developing skills that will serve them throughout their academic, professional, and personal lives.

The contest begins at the local club level, with winners advancing through district and state competitions for the opportunity to earn scholarships and recognition for their achievements.
