Cleaner Greener Quincy – Sailors' Home Cemetery Clean up

Each year, the Lions Club of Quincy proudly participates in Cleaner Greener Quincy, a citywide initiative dedicated to beautifying and preserving our community.

As part of this effort, Lions members volunteer their time to clean and maintain Sailors' Home Cemetery, a historic Quincy landmark and the final resting place of many veterans and seafarers who helped shape our nation's history. Club members work together to remove litter, clear debris, rake leaves, trim overgrowth, and help ensure that the cemetery remains a respectful and welcoming place for visitors.

This project reflects the Lions' commitment to community service and our dedication to preserving the history and character of Quincy. By caring for this historic cemetery, we honor those who came before us while helping to keep our city beautiful for future generations.
